The death toll continues to rise in the Middle East conflict. Tonight on 
Hardball, Chris will have the latest from NBC News reporters throughout the 
region. Is Israel planning a full-blown ground invasion of Lebanon? NBC

Chris also will talk live with Financial Times reporter Gareth Smyth, who is in

official said today that at least one Iranian witnessed North Korea's test

Today, U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan called for an end to the violence.

U.S. officials are telling local law enforcement with regard to the violence

Hardball's David Shuster will report on the latest in Iraq, where a new U.N 
report says civilian fatalities are mounting. MSNBC Political Analyst Pat

fight over security and foreign policy.  

Plus, MSNBC's Tucker Carlson will be live in Haifa and Lt. Col. Rick Francona, 
MSNBC military analyst, will talk about whether American troops will be pulled
