Decision 2006 is moving fast and furious tonight on Hardball. Chris talks with
two candidates from two of the hottest U.S. Senate races in the country: Sen.
Rick Santorum (R-PA) and Rep. Harold Ford Jr. (D-TN). They'll both play
Hardball tonight -- Santorum on how he plans to win the fight of his career and
Ford on how he plans to make history as the first black southern senator since

Polls show Iraq is the public's top concern. President Bush seized the
spotlight today to declare, "The strategy is to help the Iraqi people achieve
their objectives and their dreams, which is a democratic society. That's the
strategy. The tactics -- now, either you say, yes, its important we stay there
and get it done, or we leave. We're not leaving, so long as I'm the President."
President Bush also chimed in on midterm strategy today. He said, "I'd be
running on the economy, and I'd be running on national security. But since I'm
