The Hardball Briefing On MSNBC
------------------------------------------------------
Tonight on Hardball, Chris talks with Homeland Security Secretary Michael
Chertoff about the state of our national security just days before the fifth
anniversary of 9/11. President Bush says we're safer, but not safe yet. When
will we be safe? How long will that take?
To mark the fifth anniversary of 9/11, Chris will anchor an MSNBC Living
History Special at 10 p.m. Eastern on Monday called "9/11: Five Years Later,"
featuring remembrances of that fateful day by some of our country's most
well-known leaders and citizens. Tonight, we'll preview this special with a
portion of Chris' conversation with former Secretary of State Colin Powell.
It's a rare opportunity to hear him talk about his experience on that day and
how he thinks it has affected our country. Find out more about the special and
