            The Hardball Briefing On MSNBC
------------------------------------------------------
Tonight on Hardball, we've gathered some of the best political brains in
Washington for the Decision 2006 Predictions Show! You've been making your
bets around the water cooler, now hear what our analysts have to say.

But first, we'll begin tonight with a report from Hardball Correspondent David
Shuster on where the most contested races stand five days before the election.
Then, we'll bring in our big predictions roundtable: Charlie Cook, NBC News
Political Analyst and editor of the Cook Political Report, Stu Rothenberg of
the Rothenberg Political Report, Howard Fineman, MSNBC Political Analyst and
Newsweek's Chief Political Correspondent and Larry Sabato from the University
of Virginia's Center for Politics. What would happen if the election were held
today - are big upsets on the way? With just days to go, have we seen every
surprise, or are we in for a crunch time bombshell?

Plus, we'll hear from Andy Card, former Bush White House Chief of Staff, for an
insider's look at the White House on Iraq, Kerry's comments from earlier in the
week and what happens after the polls close on November 7.

And we'll wrap up the show with more Decision 2006 predictions and the role
religion will play in the election with Tony Perkins, President of the Family
Research Council, MSNBC Contributor Mike Barnicle and Kate O'Bierne from the
National Review.
