More revelations today in the Walter Reed scandal. The Washington Post
reported this morning that top officials knew about neglect at Walter Reed Army
Medical Center, and had fielded complaints about outpatient treatment from
family members, veterans groups and members of Congress for more than three
years. The Washington Post's Dana Priest first broke the story on Walter
Reed. She'll be here tonight to tell us what's going on now. Earlier today,
Major General George Weightman, commanding general of Walter Reed, was relieved
of duty. We'll also hear from Steve Robinson, director of veterans affairs at
Veterans for America, who says he was one of the people filing ignored
complaints with Walter Reed officials. Read Priest's full report here:

In '08 news, Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) choose an appearance on the "Late Show
with David Letterman" to announce that he'll be announcing his official run for
the White House in April. Meanwhile, a new TIME poll has former New York City
mayor Rudy Giuliani leading the Republican pack, including McCain. We'll hash
it all out with the Hardballers: MSNBC contributor Mike Barnicle and Chuck
Todd, Hotline editor-in-chief and incoming NBC News political director. The
National Journal ranks the Democratic contenders, check out the list here:

Later in the show, more on "Picking the Next President," including the latest
on Sens. Hillary Clinton (D-NY) and Barack Obama (D-IL), from former Reagan
adviser Marc Rotterman, Joe Conason from the New York Observer and radio talk
show host Michael Smerconish. And Chicago Mayor Richard Daley, re-elected
earlier this week to a 6th term by 71% of the vote, will be here to play
Hardball.

Then, a look inside North Korea like you've never seen it before. National
Geographic correspondent Lisa Ling traveled undercover to document what it's
really like to live under the regime of Kim Jong Il. Tonight she'll share what
she saw.
