Alexis -- When using a layered SQL product to access an M database, you have to map the hierarchical M globals to relational tables. SQL engines like KB_SQL and Aida need this mapping to be performed. The mapping exists for KB_SQL since the VA uses KB_SQL internally. To the best of my knowledge, the VistA globals have never been mapped with Aida.
