VistALite has officially been renamed VistA-Office Electronic Health Record (OpenVistA EHR). This was announced at NHII. At this time this product does not exist. The VA is working in conjunction CMS of H&HS to port the VA's version of VistA for use in doctor's offices, small clinics, and rural health care. CMS is the project manager for this process. They expect to have the coding done sometime in 2005 (hopefully in the early part). Who will actually be doing the coding is being decided by CMS. To date they have not officially announced that.
