First a point of clarification...WorldVistA is an organization (not for profit).
The reason that it is an "interesting" question is that it is quite possible that there is VistA code in commercial offerings such as SMS given that many commercial solutions are based on MUMPS, and the fact that VistA has been available through FOIA for many years. But there is really no way of knowing the answer unless you have access to the source code which of course is not available for scrutiny. With public domain software such as VistA there is no obligation at all to credit the original author...which is a pity because the VA certainly deserves the recognition. Maybe with all the positive press VistA has received lately we'll begin to see "VistA Inside" slogans cropping up :-).
