Reviewing the site: ftp://ftp.va.gov/vista/Software/ It appears one can DL this Cache.dat and have a fully patched, latest version of VistA with which to go forward. I'm interested in this answer as I plan to shortly make the full move to VistA and would like to have the latest version for starter.
I understand this requires a complete reinstall, though it seems a small price to pay, for getting the latest update to launch the new system. I appreciate any comments regarding the wisdom of this approach.
