Bhaskar, Thanks for your analysis of the errors below.
I wonder why the setup routine is not finding the needed routines. I used the vista install script that you set up. Well, actually I run the install script on machine A several months, then recently came back and copied all the directories over to machine B. One difference between the machines what that the user name is now "kdt0p" vs. "kdtop" on machine A. But I think I modified all the relevant parts to reflect this change. During the original install I chose the option where the main routines are stored in /usr/share/OpenVistA and then user data etc is store in /home/kdt0p/OpenVista_UserData. It looks like the ZTMGRSET function is accessing one of the linux environmental variables, and then looking in the wrong directory. I modified my script that run VistA to show the environmental variables before running. Here is what it shows: --------------------------------------------- Starting GT.M VistA ------------------- FYI, here are relevant defined variables: gtm_dist=/usr/local/gtm gtm_log=/usr/local/gtm/log gtmgbldir=/home/kdt0p/OpenVista_UserData/g/mumps.gld gtm_vista=/home/kdt0p/OpenVista_UserData gtmroutines=/home/kdt0p/OpenVista_UserData/o(/home/kdt0p/OpenVista_UserData/r /usr/local/gtm) /usr/local/gt m() vista_home=vista_home Entering GT.M system now... GTM> --------------------------------------------- So I am guessing that the real problem is that these variables are set up wrong. But which ones? Also, Nancy wrote this: >The newer setups since the advent of the 275 patch >have all of the routines in the same >(/home/user/OV/r/*.m )directory as the patch >was written with that as the assumption. So maybe I should not be having two separate places that *.m routines are stored? Any thoughts? Thanks Kevin --- "K.S.
