This is true in the world of medications.  My
understanding is that the FDA no longer allows drug
names to contain claims of efficacy built in.  I.e. a
drug to treat a liver condition could not name itself
"LiverSaver".

But the practicle problem right now is knowing what
version to download and put on one's system.

Perhaps we could address this issue like software
manufacturers do.  When I buy a program, ofter there
is a version that runs on Mac on the same disk. They
just put it in a different directory.  So maybe we
should put everything into one disk.  If you boot off
the disk, it could ask it you wanted to install, or
run off disk.  If you choose install, then it could
ask GTM vs. Cache' etc.

I just think we need to really work on simplifying
things if we want to increase acceptibility.
