The first of those bullets describes practice management tools (not to mention aggregation to a CMS warehouse)....presumably
based on the DOQ-IT project.
Since these practice management features are "additions", it is worthy of parallel discussion for Openvista regardless of the ways that VA has traditionally aggregated practice management data in the design of existing Vista.
But perhaps such discussion will not transpire at the event. Maybe Michael Ginsburg will respond here ...if there will be any informal "information sessions" later in the week.
Still it would be good if the schedule conflict could be averted.

I have been asking questions and this event in the Renaissance Hotel is probably not the one you want to go to, Rusty. Do the GTM training, and I am sure you will not be disappointed by your decision, unless you are planning to go into the business of installing VistA for a living that is, and even then, you might be better off with the GTM training as this is probably not going to tell you what you want to know. David Brailer and maybe Tommy Thompson are going to be there, and that will attract the press and the big wigs and leave us small wigs wishing we were elsewhere. There is a very good chance you will find out what you want to know at the WorldVistA meeting.
I am going to the GTM training.

I know it is only a week away, but the pre events for Worldvista were certainly calculated to catch the coat tails of the gathering and they have carefully avoided taking a bite out of Openvista agenda. but unfortunately these 2 pre events collide with each other (timewise) and they are geographically separated in suburban MD.
Is there any chance of any adjustments that would allow GTM enthusiasts to make it to the Vista-Office event creating a more complete use of that day? Rusty Maynard
snip from Bhaskar Sept 23: Thanks to the hospitality of Barbara Boykin and Oleen Healthcare, the GT.M acculturation workshop will be at 9am on Wednesday, October 20 at the offices of Oleen in Silver Spring, MD (http://oleen.com/about/directions.html).
All who are interested are invited to attend. However, please let me know in advance (offline so that we don't use group bandwidth), so that Oleen can be prepared for the number of folks who will be there. If you have already written to me, and I have acknowledged, there is no need to let me know again, so just show up.
