Friday's community conference call was on the topic of open source licensing. At the conclusion, it was agreed to continue the discussion using the "Vista-vendors" group at Yahoo.com. If you are interested in the topic, and if you are not already on the list, send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and request to be added to the member list.
The current discussion starts on 11/19/2004 with message # 134. The discussion was moved out of this (hardhats) list so that it would not be lost in the tide. The general gist is to define the attributes of an open source license that will meet the requirements of the open-VistA community. This task is complicated by a number of factors, including the fact that we start with a significant body of public domain software. Please feel free to join in. ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: InterSystems CACHE FREE OODBMS DOWNLOAD - A multidimensional database that combines robust object and relational technologies, making it a perfect match for Java, C++,COM, XML, ODBC and JDBC. www.intersystems.com/match8 _______________________________________________ Hardhats-members mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/hardhats-members
