Open Office Calc expresses the exponent with an "E" rather than "D".
I think that if you replace "D-" with "E-" and "D " with "E" the file would import to Calc as a
tab delimited table.

If you click on the word "Coefficients" at the top of this page, there is a table with this sort of notation.
I was going to pull it into a spreadsheet and I thought it might be easier to separate out the exponent rather than leave it there to be parsed out. That way when I exported it again, I could comma delimit it rather than "D" delimit it.
I was wondering why it was done that way. Greg probably has the answer.
