OOOOOPS. Look what I found from a bona fide expert. My solution is probably not the one you should choose as it may not be a solution at all.
Re: [HARDHATS] Need help with volume-box pair Date: Tue Mar 2 01:45:14 2004 From: "Rick Marshall" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>(WorldVistA) To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Reply to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Dear Mr. Toppenberg, Roy is quite right that in this case you want to select the existing entry and alter it. If you were instead to add a new entry, you would subsequently want to remove the existing entry anyway, so you might as well just change it to what you want. In general, however, to add a new entry that partially matches an existing entry, simply surround the new entry in quotes, e.g.: "VISTA:CACHE" That forces FileMan to ignore matches and simply add the new entry. You can use this same techniques to force in duplicates (which is appropriate in some situations), e.g.: "VISTA:CACHEWEB" The TaskMan Site Parameters file, of course, is not one of those where you want to have duplicates. Indeed, you do not want to have any extraneous entries in this file. Keep only those that describe real environments on your system. Delete all the rest. This file lists the legitimate environments and applies parameters to them. As a result, it has such a dramatic effect on TaskMan's behavior that you want to keep it tightly under control to avoid any confusion.
