Usha,

Did you try the search function for the .gld file? 
I'm pretty sure it is somewhere on your system.

I think the default way that VistA gets set up is to
have some of it in /usr/local/OpenVistA

You are getting the message because your environmental
variables $gtm_glbdir (something like this.. this is
not exactly right) is not set properly.
