I wouldn't knock WMA/AVI too hard because MS is smart and they made the encoder free. But if you have any basic movie editing or video recording software, it should do MPEG - and that's generic enough for everyone without costing any coin.
What are you recording? Your PC screen or actual Video? /David. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Doctor Bones Sent: Wednesday, February 23, 2005 4:47 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [Hardhats-members] Linux and emulators Hi :) As for linux, or co-linux, or vmware.... Have you all thought about "qemu"? It is supposed to be pretty good. The only thing is.... I really don't want to run windows at all. My personal belief... is that it is a security hole, rather than has security holes. Also... is there anyway to put the seminar on how to set all this up online... streaming video, or divx, or even... gasp... windows media...(NO NO NO forget I said that). Not just for me... I am going to try to attend... but it would be a really nice archive for future setter uppers.
