BANG!! As time marshes on I have lately been reminded by threads such as this one that one of my own motivations for sticking around MUG Atlanta in the 80's, MUG itself until it's demise, and then Hardhats, and now openvista (lowercase here to be as broad as possible)... I am still drawn (alongside healthcare as a human right) by this continuing association with this group of <<doers>> studded with <<thinkers>>... sort of like nuts, raisins and bits of unexpected whatever enbeded in a fruitcake. :-) We remain capable of discussion on a level that I can understand, mostly, and contribute to, (very occasionally substantively), but which puts me into contact with minds that sometimes show a broader sweep than mine, sometimes move at a deeper level than mine, take me places I wouldn't have considered, and often bring to bear experience very different from my own. regards to all and onward, jlz ---------- Original Message ----------- From: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Fri, 11 Mar 2005 15:11:33 0000 Subject: Re: Re: [Hardhats-members] MDC Revival > ...I echo Jim's remark--it is not so simple... > > However, if you distill the soup down to the essential ingredients, > standards making is a market management process at the end of the > day.
