Sorry for being slow on the uptake.  

OK.  I downloaded your file, and sure enough, your
version now works great.  I did the diff between your
file (DIS1.m) and mine (DIS1.m.safe), and here it is:

Not sure if there are enough differences there to make
a difference.  Frankly, as long as it works, I've seen
enough of this function for quite a while.  I think
I'll leave it alone.
