You are likely to have a problem because the new version of CPRS does not connect to Linux machines with GTM running VistA at the moment. There are those working on it (HINT RICK) who might have it going soon, I hope. However, there is nothing to stop us from using an older, not one port version of CPRS and VistA as I am sure someone out there has running (and if I can figure out where I put my drive with OV3 on it, I might even get it running.) I, too, am skeptical of using the VA Demo to test this, but I have the VA Demo running on my laptop and I could try it. In fact, Joseph, I can set up a Linux machine for you to try it on if you would like to SSH in and give it a whirl - but you have to wait until I go home.
