I have been thinking about debugging tools with GT.M. I have been having trouble finding/downloading the correct GT.M manual (I know, they're right there, but trust me...) to followup on this, but here is my thought.
1. Have a shell program that launches a routine. 2. Set a $ZBREAK breakpoint on the first line of the routine. 3. Trap the $ZBREAK. This is the part that I'm not sure about. But if possible, the use trap to update the display -- showing the current line of execution, and any watched variables. 4. When the user says to go on, then remove old breakpoint and set a new one, then $ZCONTINUE Any thoughts? Kevin __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo!
