Not to take away from the importance and milestone this announcement represents... it does raise the question of whether "VueCentric" is open source... which it isn't as far as I know...but that may be splitting hairs? More importantly this announcement underscores the need that there are strong data sharing standards in place between the VistA dialects that are making their way outside of the VA, IHS, CMS/IFMC etc. The ubiquitous goal of improving health quality absolutely depends on this.
