The best way that I have found to register a patient
is to use the function I put on this site:

http://openforum.worldvista.org/~forum/index.php?title=Register_a_Patient

Copy this function into a text editor. Make sure the
labels (i.e. the entry points: EDITPT,A etc) have no
space in front of them.

Then save the file as TMGMISC.m in the directory that
has other .m files. I don't know how you are
configured, but often there are two different
directories with *.m files. One with the VistA files,
and another with user files. You would want to put
this in the directory with your user files, but it
will work in either file.

Call the function as: do EDITPT^TMGMISC(1)

Let me know how it goes for you
Kevin
