For one thing, you probably want ASK HOST FILE to be YES. If you always want to use the same file name, then I think your OPEN PARAMETERS will cause problems, because it probably means getting a write lock. Using the CREATE EXPORT TEMPLATE, I have created an EXPORT TEMPLATE specifying the fields to be exported and the FOREIGN FORMAT to be used to export them. Now when I try to EXPORT DATA, it asks for the records to be exported. But after specifying the records, it does not ask for the DEVICE to which the data needs to be exported and prints it on the screen. � How to overcome this problem? � Regards Usha �
