One very minor quibble, though, is with your use of "security
workarounds" which implies that there was a security setting that needed
to be bypassed. "Appropriate security configuration setting" might be a
better phrase.
By way of analogy, you may well have a locking latch on a door from your
kitchen to your deck, one of those that can be set up to lock when you
pull the door shut. If you are using the door, e.g., when working or
relaxing on your deck, you would probably leave the lock off. You are
not working around security - you are simply configuring a security
setting that is appropriate to your current needs. If leave the lock
on, but pick it each time you go in, that would be working around security.
