Ismet, My knowledge is limited as well. But my understanding is that a HFS device reads/writes to your specified disk file. So if you print to this device, the output will be sent to the file. It would be available over a network if your OS had the directory/file mounted (i.e. using samba or NFS). VistA is going to ask the host OS to file the data.
