It should be your first point of call in decoding GT.M messages. In this case, GT.M says that $ZGbldir is telling it to look for a global directory file /home/vista/g/mumps.gld but that there is no such global directory file. Check the value of the $gtmgbldir shell environment variable before you start the mumps process and confirm that it points to a valid global directory.
