I too am patiently waiting for VistaOffice, but as a programmer, I
realize that deadlines slip. And in the software world, 1 month is
hardly significant. I mean, have a look at windows Longhorn, its
deadline has slipped by years at a time. Hopefully VistaOffice
doesn't fall into this category.
I look forward to jumping in with VistaOffice as soon as it is deemed
ready for public consumption.
I do agree that it would be nice to have a little status update, but
I don't think that shouting about it is really necessary :-)

We are now in the LAST week of August.
Not only did VOE not see the light of day on August 1.
There is NO EXPLANATION of the issues which still hold up this

WHERE IS VISTA OFFICE???
WHAT IS THE TRUTH ABOUT THE HOLDUP?
WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SNAFU?
WHY NOT RELEASE <<<NOW>>> WHATEVER IS ON HAND?
WHY NOT RELEASE <<<NOW>>> WHATEVER IS THE PROBLEM?...
SO THAT THE SUPPOSEDLY <<<OPEN SOURCE>>> DEVELOPMENT OF VISTA CAN
CONTINUE... IN THE OPEN.
Yes, I am shouting.
The current situation is shameful.
Believe me, those who wish to commit to VistA Office are being hurt.
Our credibility is not improved by the continued silence from the
CMS and
the Iowa West Foundation.
