ClearHealth stands on the shoulders of giants. It is a
Linux-Apache-MySQL-PHP application. We intentionally choose these
technologies because there is a large group of open source developers
who are familiar with that structure. (i.e. Python has lots of benefits
but fewer people are expert programmers in it) 

ClearHealth installing ClearHealth is not much different than installing
postnuke. It is pretty simple for someone who is familar with the LAMP
stack. However, once it is installed it does take some medical expertise
to configure.

This makes it a good compliment, in my mind, to the fuller featured
VistA, which is powerful, but based on relatively obscure technology.
