They offer other services that pay the bills and offer this as an
enticement, Kind of like "if you like this try these pay services".

No ads, I checked it out.  The basic service is free, but they are picky
about how often you update the DNS servers, etc.  They also sell upgrades
like Domain reg, e-mails etc. but it would probably work fine for just
setting up a VPN connection.  Nancy told me about EasyDNS which is a paid
service but they bundle a domain reg and dynamic DNS for $35/yr which is not
bad for just the domain.  Thanks all for pointing this option out.  Not that
I have the time, but maybe my 14 yo kids will design me a web page.
