The code and data from Freedom of Information Act VistA is the same code used by the VA hospitals, and as such is ready to install immediately. This system has been available for years. The only issue I know anyone has expressed is the availability of CPT codes, which the AMA has worked out an arrangement to provide. For beta installs, this should work for you as well. Note, just as any hospital system requires training to be effective in configuration and usage, the VistA system will require a planned process to make it most effective.
