It's the time-frame I'm concerned about. I wouldn't be able to help at
all as I have other commitments the next 3 weeks or so. So I thought it
was logical to suggest the March dateline so that there is time to
discuss, plan and do a good proposal. I'm off to Singapore tomorrow
morning myself and will be away for a couple of days. We'll need someone
else to co-ordinate if its going to be the Oct dateline otherwise I can
do that for the later date.

early Friday morning, and will be traveling in Europe all of next week.
Also, I don't have the skills to set up VistA to demonstrate CPRS.
If there are any volunteers, here is how I propose that we set up the
technical side.
1. Start with an OpenVistA VivA FOIA Gold 20050825 live DVD and either a
512 MB USB flash drive.
2. Install a VistA environment to the USB flash drive.
3. Run the VistA environment and configure the VistA environment to
accept CPRS connections, and load up enough data on one dummy patient to
demonstrate what works and what doesn't work with CPRS.
4. Using the CPRS on the live DVD, copy the executable and run it on
Windows and run it locally under wine.
5. Write up a summary of what works and what doesn't. (Presumably
everything works on Windows and some/many things don't work under wine
on Linux.]
6. Zip up the contents of the configured database and get it over to
Molly along with the write up.
Although I will be traveling, I will check my e-mail at least once a
day, if not more often, and will render whatever assistance I can.

contact Codeweavers and put them in touch with the volunteers and Molly.

closing
date of Oct 15th. I'm already submitting a proposal for my own
project
in PrimaCare but I can assist in the proposal if I get help for the
