That would be TGA Kevin. They are TGA derivatives. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Kevin Toppenberg Sent: Tuesday, October 04, 2005 8:37 PM To: Hardhats Sourceforge Subject: [Hardhats-members] VistA Imaging and Image filetypes
Does anyone know the image filetype of the thumbnails that are automatically generated (I believe by the background processor)? When I ask for an image from the server, say for a given document, it passes back the name of the file, e.g.: ZZ000001.jpg and it ALSO passes back the name of a thumbnail (aka abstract), e.g.: ZZ000001.ABS Because I am not going to be running the background processor, I will upload these abstract .ABS files myself. But I don't know what file format it should be: jpg? bmp? same as original file? Also, it appears that records in the IMAGE file (2005) have a field that specifies the image type (i.e. movie, text, html, still image). But it specifies that the default extension for a STILL IMAGE is jpg. I assume this is only a default, and that I can upload any format I want (i.e. .png ), because there is also a field that specifies the file's extension. So my primary question is what the format of the .ABS file is supposed to be.
