Nancy, Greg, and David. Thank you for the input. Yes, it was a case sensitive problem. No submanager configuration was necessary to start taskman.

What is the output from your D GETENV^%ZOSV W Y ? Be very sure the upper-lower case in the name of your computer is correct when you compare that to what you get with hostname -s and what you have entered.

I agree with Nancy that this looks like a simple Uppercase vs Lowercase

issue.  I highlighted the place below where the differences are shown....
