I am confused. How are you able to run Fileman if it hasn't already been initialized? Please explain how you have a namespace called VistA and where you got the FM routines and how you installed them. I don't mean to be nosey, but something doesn't add up here to me, so I need more details to connect the dots.

Thanks Peter.

I am attempting to install VistA on XP Pro with a Cache single user
developer license. I am able to run File Man, connect with the Cache.dat in
namespace VISTA and modify fields, but when I tried to initialize File Man I
receive an error:

VISTA>D ^DINIT

VA FileMan V.22.0

K %DT,DT S:$D(IO(0))[0 IO(0)=$I D NOW^%DTC S DT=X,U="^"

Any thoughts?
