Looks like the Quick C-- compiler is written in Objective Caml.
AND, there are Objective Caml binary and source for OS X.
(That the original IO module was first named Spitting Caml is pure
late-night whimsey on my part.)
BTW, I'm building OCaml right now. I'll let you know how it goes.
