I am very new to Vista and hope to get some advice on the installation
problem I ran into.

I spent some time downloading the Windows/Cache version and was hoping to
try it out. My files were downloaded from ftp://ftp.va.gov/Vista/Software/
and I followed the installation instructions from
http://www.hardhats.org/projects/VistA_Install/Vista_Install.html.

After step 105, I tried to use RPCTest.exe to test connection. I got an
error saying:
   Error encountered.
   Function was:recv
   Error was: WSAECONNRESET

I know my machine name and port number were correctly specified in
RPCReset.exe . (If I tried to give a wrong port number, I ended up with a
different error after longer wait time: WSAEINTR .) So my guess is I have
some proble on the server end.

I did a 'D ^%SS', the output is as following:

Can you tell what the problem might be? And what else can I do to identify
the problem?

I am not sure if this is related: I was not able to perform step 39 because
I could not find the line in XWBTCPC.INT. I assumed the patch is not needed
for the cache.dat file I downloaded. Let me know if you know that is not
true.

Thanks in advance.
