Hmm...interesting. Obviously, since MUMPS is a very different sort of language, I would have to make some extensions to the language to illustrate the basic concepts of functional programming, but that could certainly be a useful exercise. One point, though is that you *can't* do procedural programming in Haskell, it simply lacks the necessary constructs (other languages, like Common Lisp, support both styles). So, I suppose it would be necessary to "remove" certain language features, too.
