The differences in 'system time constant' are about the only thing that fundamentally distinguishes one thing from another. Otherwise, all things are transient phenomena, even the universe itself. The answer is simply: NO. I think feeding on this pearl of wisdom from Perlis leaves one without any nutritional benefit.
