No. There is a patch currently being tested (LA*5.2*66) which will upgrade the Lab UI to use VistA HL v1.6. VA is currently waiting on one of the vendors to correct a problem in their system before testing can resume.

/1. Do you have the test set up with an accession area in File 60?/
/2. Are you working with more than one institution?/
// /My experience is that if you try to accession a test that has not
been assigned correctly to the UCI that you are assigned to, then
the test will not accession correctly./

/*Subject:*/ [Hardhats-members] Laboratory Interfaces: LEDI and LUI
Vista Gurus, I am in need of your assistance again. I am working with the
laboratory interfacing functions (LEDI and LUI) and have hit some
snags. So far I have some LEDI HL7 interfaces configured and
working, my next step is to try to send orders and receive results.
Following the instructions in the documentation I have created an
entry in ACCESSION file (#68) and linked some Laboratory Tests (#60):
I can start the order using Lab Accessioning LRFAST, LRQUICK, etc.
but when I pass the option to print labels, I get the message:
ALBUMIN does not have an appropriate accession area.
ORDER # 68 IS NOT ACCESSIONED
I've tried all kinds of things but obviously I'm missing something. Also I've also noticed that the "Laboratory Universal Interface"
only provides options for HL7 1.5 (non TCP/IP). Is there any way
to configure it to work with 1.6?
Thanks in advance, Robert Select OPTION NAME: LRQUICK Multipurpose accessioning Multipurpose accessioning WANT TO ENTER COLLECTION TIMES? Y//
