Jim says: "...Fileman contains routines to initialize ^%ZOSV for other platforms, such as ^DINZDTM, DINZMSM, ^DINZONT, ^DINZVXD, etc, but not for GT.M. Perhaps they are/should be deprecated or superceded?..."
Sorry. Not true. If you look closely, you'll see that the routines you mention initialize the ^%ZOSF global, not the %ZOSV* routines. MSC FileMan is intended as a replacement for the DI* and DD* routines that come with FOIA VistA, nothing more. There is no intention to offer more support in this suite of software for GT.M than the VA does. My suggestion: get VA FileMan up and running first, on your MUMPS platform of choice; then add MSC FileMan and run ^DINIT. --George Timson P.S. Folks, be sure to pick up the LATEST copy of the MSC FileMan routines at http://www.hardhats.org/fileman/MSC.html. I changed the DIE0 routine on December 23, 2005. ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc. Do you grep through log files for problems?
