I tried it twice so far. The questions seemed provide pretty good coverage of 
the major
differences that I know of between Linux distributions.

The first time it recommended Ubuntu and Kubuntu and Mepis. Debian was listed 
also but
rejected as being better suited to more advanced users. I have been using 
Debian for quite
a while now, but I categorized my Linux expertise as intermediate. I also 
answered that I
wanted a Free distribution to install as a home/office workstation on a fairly 
new laptop.

The second time I changed some of my answers and it recommended Gentoo and 
Slackware. This
is more or less what I expected since I indicated a preference this time for 
portage
source based distribution over RPM (Redhat) and APT (Debian).

I was a little surprised that Knoppix was not mentioned. I guess I will have to 
look
closer at Ubuntu, Mepis, Gentoo, etc.
