What is the best (automated) way to update existing patient records? I have found how to add new patients from a CSV (Comma Separated Values) or Excel-type file but I haven't found how to update existing Vista patient records in a similar fashion.
In the case I'm concerned with, Vista will be used in a small practice/office setting where there is already practice management software in use. What is desired is to be able to export patient adds and updates from the practice management system and import them into Vista via CSV files using an automated process. As I mentioned, I've found how to add patient records from CSV files but not how to update existing ones.
