The globals *could* have been corrupted, but there are also other
possible explanations. In this case, I suspect that you (Nancy) are
probaly right, but it's hard to know for sure without further
investigation. Generally, it's wise to take good care of your database,
even if you think the risk of an errant application causing damage is
small.
