Well, I apparently wasn't looking closely enough before, but the .01
field is NOT a multiple.  Which makes me feel better.  I stop trying
to wrap my head around such a weird concept.

But there is still something in the data dictionary that is preventing
me from editing the fields .01, 1, 2.
