I am amazed at how little known the search feature is. Tell me if this
doesn't look like an SQL query (it even includes a JOIN):

Select VA FileMan Option: search File Entries

OUTPUT FROM WHAT FILE: OPTION//

-A- SEARCH FOR OPTION FIELD: TYPE
  -A- CONDITION: = EQUALS
  -A- EQUALS: menu

-B- SEARCH FOR OPTION FIELD: MENU
     1 MENU (multiple)
     2 MENU TEXT
CHOOSE 1-2: 1 MENU (multiple)

-B- SEARCH FOR OPTION MENU SUB-FIELD: .01 ITEM
    -B- CONDITION: = EQUALS
-B- EQUALS OPTION: DIUSER VA FileMan

-C- SEARCH FOR OPTION MENU SUB-FIELD:

  -C- SEARCH FOR OPTION FIELD:

IF: A&B TYPE EQUALS "M" (menu) and OPTION ITEM EQUALS 19 (DIUSER)

DO YOU WANT THIS SEARCH SPECIFICATION TO BE CONSIDERED TRUE FOR
CONDITION -B-
        1) WHEN AT LEAST ONE OF THE 'MENU' MULTIPLES SATISFIES IT
        2) WHEN ALL OF THE 'MENU' MULTIPLES SATISFY IT
    CHOOSE 1-2: 1//

OR:

STORE RESULTS OF SEARCH IN TEMPLATE:

SORT BY: NAME//
START WITH NAME: FIRST//
FIRST PRINT FIELD: NAME
THEN PRINT FIELD:
Heading (S/C): OPTION SEARCH//
DEVICE: INCOMING TELNET Right Margin: 80//
OPTION SEARCH MAR 29,2006 12:26
