[Hardhats-members] Add New Patient in VistA

Hi,   I am looking for the best practice approach to "Add a new patient" in VistA.   I know it can be done thru,   DG REGISTER PATIENT or thru the 'ENTER OR EDIT FILE ENTRIES'   Can this, 'Add New Patient in VistA', done from an outside application.   Pls let me know.   Thanks, -Gokul
