If you could run Vista you can run 10. I haven’t seen a discernible change in 
hardware requirements in years for anything in the numbers series that have 
been the recent releases (7, 8, 8.1, 10). 

I think the best bet is to run 64-bit and 8gb of ram. Graphics needs co-vary 
with your work, (more intensive graphics, you need a better card).
