Absolutely. Completely trashed the story line with episodes 1 to 3.
Although, going back and watching Star Wars IV now, it doesn't age
well. The new movie is pretty good and quite enjoyable, but it is just
a repeat of episode 4 with the girl in the place of Luke, Han Solo in
place of Obiwan, etc.
