For the hell of it you might want to run memtest from a boot USB or CD. I've
had a couple sticks of good name brand memory go bad and cause random issues.
Could be something on the motherboard going out but check the simple stuff
first.

I have thought of that. There is a minor meaningless BIOS update
available but I was planning on flashing it as soon as I have a good
